I wonder why more college teams don't run the option. It can give opposing teams headaches!

I said back in September following the effort Navy put forth in Columbus...(notice I didn't say they almost beat OSU....that is not an accurate statement)....that Navy would win 10 ball games....I just wish I wouldve drove the 20 miles to watch the game....but I will be in that stadium in a couple days to watch Texans v. Patriots...

I love watching service academies play. Their kids play hard and never give up and play a style of football that puts them on an equal playing field with most teams in the country... Congrats to both teams

Not possible. Don't these guys know that the spread is the only offense capable of winning football games?

How about those Midshipmen!!!!
Commander-in-Chief's trophy, beat Notre Dame, bowl game victory.............it doesn't get any better than that for Navy football.

The USNA has been my favorite football program for some time now. Paul Johnson has really created something there. and now he's doing it at GT.

Great job Mids.

yeah, okay maybe the right way to describe it would be that they "almost tied" Ohio St and forced overtime. Without Brian Rolle's pick of the 2 pt conversion, there's no telling what might have happened

Rumor has it that the QB from the state champs may be running your favorite's option attack. Hope so.

It's always great to see service academies have successful seasons. I always root for them when not playing OSU, which doesn't happen all that often, and especially in bowl games. Navy's dismantling of a Big12 opponent was most impressive; but AFA picking off Keenum 6 times was pretty outstanding as well.

I LOVE watching Navy. One reason I wanted to join the Navy is Navy Football. Too bad I wasn't smart enough to go to the academy.
