Pitman I don't care how many you could have put up on Fairless, the fact is that's what the score was. I have stated all year you're the class of the PAC, but it will be a short playoff run when you face a team that is physical and will challenge your receivers at the line. I'd be careful questioning anyone's defense without looking in the mirror.
In closing i think Chippewa does win this game, but I'm not going to hide the fact that I hope they blow the Bears out, and put all the nonsense to bed. I have a hell of a lot more respect for programs like Hillsdale and Northwestern who go about their business, offer quality insight, and carry themselves in a respectable manner.

When it comes to "programs" in the WCAL...Waynedale is a the top of that list. We really don't need YOUR respect...trust me...we've earned respect for the last 45 years...long before your time son. If 45 years is to far to go back, then in the last 20 years you have 1 title we have 7. Either way...well, I think you see it and PLEASE don't give me the overall records for the last 5 years or whatever. CHAMPIONSHIPS...THAT is the measuring stick.

I don't recall, and I'm not going to research it, but a couple of people actually posted that was good, and prepped them for league play. I just don't agree with that statement. If anything, I would question what I'm doing, and reevaluate things. There is no doubt you guys are prolific, and I have stated that all year. I just think your defense is going to be called upon at some point in the playoffs. Good luck

I don't think anyone meant that giving up 74 points was good but, there is no doubt, playing a team the caliber of Triway is good for any team. I am pretty sure that any of the teams in the WCAL would have to "reevaluate things" after playing Triway.....

Golden Bear fans today are not what they were a few years back. Something has changed within the last 10 years or so with the crowd. It's sad and sickening. I can't recall ever hearing so much BS in the 80's-90's coming from those in the stands, restaurants, and watering holes. All they do now is bicker about stupid things, look to point the finger at anyone they can, whining and crying about a rule involving freshman that has been in place for somewhere around 20-25 years, and using every excuse to in the book, including slandering the coach and athletes to explain why there hasn't been the same level of success in recent years.

Good grief. I've been reading this site for the last year or so since someone pointed it out to me and it's all I see on here too. Thank you loud mouth minorities for showing that Golden Bear pride and proving that the same values and grittiness that has made the school so successful for so long, no longer exists.

I posted a picture of me and wcalfan "meeting" last year. It was a good pic of myself sitting alone....he never showed. I can't tolerate his shenanigans. Again...he reminds me of a poster on the wrestling forums that was banned.

Also of note: The Wayne County Athletic Leagues inaugural year was 1954, but not fielding 8 teams until 1955. So looking at titles, you may want to evaluate pre 1955 numbers and adjust accordingly.

Triway was in the WCAL from 63 to 70, Hillsdale replaced Triway.

NICE JOB! I feel the exact same way and have tried to convey that but you are MUCH better at saying it. However, I will correct you on one thing. It isn't the "crowd" that has only changed...the big change is in our PARENTS! Our parents today are proud about being "policy changers" not PROGRAM supporters. Does it really surprise you though that it has changed in the last 10 years? Look at our society...that's all people do....finger point.

Nice try on the comparison but you are NOT EVEN CLOSE. The wrestling poster blamed everything on the coach, wrestlers, fans, parents, heck even the OHSAA. I do want to make it clear that even though I listed the talk of the locker room, that "policy change" isn't a bad thing. Although it appears that you and I are currently agreeing about a few things, don't feel that you are immune from my comments. You, Mr. Fan, have not been the shining example of golden bear pride on many occasions either. Your "tactics" of making your point have not been the most tactful and poignant posts. In fact, they have been disgusting in their own right. I really suggest that you kill with kindness more often, because your current "tactic" isn't doing you any favors.
