Anybody got any good recommendations? I usually play at least 2 bets one for a win/place/show and a quinella or trifecta of some sorts. This year i am woefully uninformed about the field

On another note...California Chrome owner was offered $6 million for 51% ownership of his horse and he turned it down!!!! He must be counting on a win.

Ride on Curlin has Calvin Borel as it's Jockey so it's got a shot just because of him.

I would box 5-11 and then box 5-11-19

Damn didn't see hopp scratched. I liked him because he was a Bob Baffert horse. With him out Cali Chrome is going to be a huge favorite.

I'd say maybe more counting on at least 2 legs of the Triple Crown. 51% is tough - I wonder if he would have accepted $20 for 49%?

General a Rod?

Smart name for a horse - keep the payoff higher because Yankee-haters can't bring themselves to bet on him.

All fans hate him, NYers possibly more than anyone.

8/1 coming from post 20?!? I don't know anything about the horses, but something like that jumps out at you.

I know it's early, but looking at those odds it seems like it's Chrome and then about a pick-8 for 2nd and 3rd.

Intense Holiday, Medal Count and Wicked Strong have been getting a lot of press, to go along with Chrome, for the box bets.

Screwed mine. Had the correct first and third finish but had the 20 horse in second.

Would have been a nice payout.

One of the least exciting Derby's I've seen in a while. Great story with the winner, though.

Anyone ever attempted to buy tickets to Kentucky Derby, or looked into it? Is it as salty as the Super Bowl?

Infield is reasonable. You can't see the race but you'll see plenty of tits
