Fuck Boozer. He isn't helping the Cavs anymore than some other random signing.

EDIT: Maybe sign him to a 10 day contract so Cleveland fans can get a good bit of booing him on a long homestand before releasing him.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?id=1728987

Allen was working on his shot after practice one day, and a group of people were standing behind him to watch him shoot. "Look at that," one of the observers noticed. "His ball moves when it leaves his hand."
"What do you mean?" another bystander asked.
"His ball, it wobbles on the way to the basket, almost like it's a knuckleball."
"No it doesn't. That's an optical illusion."
So the group went over to Seattle coach Nate McMillan.
"Have you ever noticed Ray's ball when it leaves his hand?" McMillan was queried. "It ..."
"Yeah, it moves," McMillan said before the question even was completed. "I've noticed that."

At one point, the colloquy turned to the rotation of the ball once it is released. Allen's ball barely rotates, perhaps a turn or a turn and a half from the time it leaves his hand behind the 3-point line to the time it reaches the basket. Someone pointed out that a ball that has more rotation is apt to have a little more action if and when it hits the rim, giving it more of a chance to hit the backboard and go in.
Deadpan, without missing a beat, Allen said: "Yeah, but you're not supposed to hit the rim."

I'm glad your analysis of a 360p youtube video proved perfect rotation, but it's been mentioned by coaches frequently that Allen's shot has a weird spin upon release. Sorry.

I never said it had literally zero backspin, I said Ray Allen did not have perfect rotation either. Something that countless articles have been written about.

Commissioner Adam Silver says at Vegas press conference that, with respect to Heat, LeBron James returning to Cavs is good for the NBA.

BUT the NBA and its fans love the super teams, and the big 3 are great for the NBA.

Waiters, Bennett, and a #1. Don't see how you can turn that down if you're Minnesota. What better offer are you going to get?

Golden State's rumored offer is better, for one.

For a rooting perspective, I'm glad Noel isn't on Cleveland. However, I can't imagine him playing at the 4 with LeBron and Kyrie. It's funny, I've seen him hit 3 or 4 12-16 foot jumpers in the summer. I never saw him ATTEMPT one in college. He's got a smooth stroke, just nobody ever saw it.

David Lee is a 31 yr old with injury problems and is one of the worst interior defenders in the history of the NBA.

Harrison Barnes can't even average double figures.

Not to mention owed 31m the next 2 seasons. Which would take Minny out of the running for a FA next season.

And Bennett and Waiters are...? And please, be consistent and focus only on the most negative aspects you can think of.

It has a lot more to do with that ^ than Lee and Barnes being great players, although they're obviously much better than your post.

I agree with you that they are better players, Right now. But they've pretty much hit their ceilings, or are coming down in the case of Lee. For a team like Minny, who will undoubtedly lose Lee, they will be left with another terrible squad, I personally would much rather take on young, talented Unknowns, all the while leaving a crap load of cap space to bring in a few FA's.

There is zero positive to David Lee for Minnesota. Taking him on is actually a negative for their team's situation. They'd be better off receiving a 2nd rd draft pick.

I would side with Minnesota (to this point) and take neither. They aren't good offers, and holding out for Klay or Wiggins is smart.

But of the two, Golden State's offer is better, unless the Wolves want to go into a full blown rebuild.

They're not going to get klay or wiggins so I hope they enjoy letting Love walk for nothing.
