I'm not saying the story isn't true, but what place doesn't build a tip into the rental cost when dealing with a large group rental? That's damn near a standard thing that's done now at least

2 Pieces of Cavs Rumors from B/R

Cavs discussing trading Jarrett Jack to the Nets for Marcus Thornton

And Cavs leaning toward taking Jabari, per CBSSports.

I think Jabari is the safe pick. Probably a guy who would come in and provide 20 a game right off the bat. Probably an annual all-star. But with Wiggins you have that all around player, super-star type potential.

Jabari might be a bit safer to start off, but I really dont see him scoring 20 a game rookie year. Durant and Melo barely did that and they were both much better scorers than Parker IMO.

Im on the Wiggins train personally, just dont see players with his kind of upside often. I guess you really cant go wrong with either

20 a game as a rookie, has only happened 5 times since 2002.

LBJ
Melo
Durant
Blake Griffin
Tyreke Evans.

I guess its possible because Tyreke did it, and he couldn't shoot at all. But seems like it could happen, just not likely

So it's happened nearly every other year since 02. Throw out all the shitty draft classes since, and thrown in a prospect the caliber of Parker, it's definitely a possibility. Say it's only 18? Who cares. If we are debating minor differences, then we are missing the point of my post.

How much do you think he averages his first season chach? Weren't you the one pumping Embiid? That's looking real well considering he can't even walk without getting hurt.

Pretty much everyone in the NBA circle were on the Embiid train, pre injury. Not exactly like he was calling for the Cavs to take some universally regarded scrub or something else.

And I don't really see Parker scoring more than 15 a game, with this team as currently constructed.

Kyrie will avg. between 19 and 20.

Dion will get his usual 16 to 18, albeit on 23-24 shots.

Parker as above should get you 15

I was never turned off by the talent and potential Embiid possesses, just the injury concern. Turns out I and some others were right. Thank god the news came out before the draft.

Agreed, I'm surprised it actually did. It would've been a total "Cleveland" thing to have him break his foot during Summer League.

Or on his walk up to the stage after his name is called.

LOL from a Sheridanhoops.com writer

@BrettNBA Cleveland is making calls trying to trade down between the 3-5 spot because they think Embiid will slip.

They'll probably outsmart themselves and end up missing out on Parker, Wiggins, and Embiid. Just take either Parker or Wiggins and be done with it.

Looking for credit for being concerned about Embiid's injury potential, which literally everyone acknowledged even before the fracture? God you're pathetic.

I wasn't look for any type of credit, especially from you, Thaddeus Gibson . Way to cherry pick my comment and run with it. Par for the course.

If you weren't looking for credit, then why else would you say "I was right"? There is no other reason.

Shut up and stop trying to BS. You do this all the time, looking for credit to try to make up for all the dumb shit you say and you're way wrong about.

And lmfao at bringing something up from 2010. I didn't need to reiterate in this post how pathetic you were, but you just showed another example of it.

Pick "picks" one stupid comment someone has made in the history of this board and uses that to say he is correct about predicting someone would get injured when everyone else knew lol

thought so. always interested in running your little bitch mouth instead of saying something of substance on the record. Please continue. You can say "20pts a game. LOLLLLLLL" and attempt to talk shit, but you're too much of a coward to actually state your own opinion.

Pick6 is actually trying to be a chest thumper about being leary of Embiid's injury potential? Which literally everyone says and acknowledges ? Lmao, hey pick6 I'm going to go ahead and predict every athletic 7 footer has injury concerns.

Look at me! I'm so smart! /pick5
