Nobody on this team is safe. The Cavs are taking and making calls on everyone. They are even taking calls about Irving (although I don't know if they are dangling him out there right now). Plenty of suitors for Deng in sign and trades.
From what I'm hearing I don't expect the Cavs to come away this off-season with any future assets or cap space. They are going all in. The team they build will be the team they think has a chance to win it all in a few years.
Edited to add: Nobody knows the Cavs preference right now when it comes to the draft because the Cavs won't make up their minds until they get the top 5 or 6 guys in for a workout and thorough physical. Until that happens its just speculation on everyone's part.

New GM David Griffin is looking for a college or NBA coach who agrees to accept input and instructions from himself and the Cavs’ notorious hands-on owner, Dan Gilbert. That makes for a potential nightmare, although candidates Alvin Gentry or Jim Cleamons might figure it’s still one of only 30 NBA jobs, so why not give it a shot
