Thought it's probably one of the worst bowl matchups of the year, I've gotta start the thread. Game is tonight at 6pm on NFL Network. Here's hoping the Gophers can get the Big Ten to 2-0.

Is Decker playing? I know he has had a lingering ankle injury.

Also who will be the QB for the Gophers?

Probably just a contract the NFL network has with the bowl game.

Decker is done for the year. He'll be out for this one. Fortunately, ISU's top CB is out as well.

QB will be Weber, though I'm hoping Gray gets more than a couple snaps (10-15 offensive plays would be nice).

Tell me about it. The NFL Network blows since I can't get it at home, so I gotta go out on New Year's Eve to find a place in Boston that will show the game.

Both of these teams are pretty terrible. I think Minnesota wins though.

Minnesota is just not capitalizing on opportunities. Interceptions are hurting them, along with an unlucky trip by the safety on the last ISU TD.

Leave it to Minnesota to blow a game.

Hold on to the fucking ball, you idiot. To think, they could have just kept it on the ground and kicked a field goal leaving probably 1:30 seconds on the clock with a 1 point lead, and 1 player had to blow it.

It's frustrating.

Wow Minnesota completely dropped the ball with this loss. Huge blown chance to start the bowl season off right for the Big 10. Here's hoping Tim Brewster gets fired for his embarrassing performance.

If they can fire Glen Mason for a bowl game choke job (against Texas Tech) then the same can happen for Brewster. Way to tick off my New Year. There goes the Big 10 chances at a perfect bowl year.

Minnesota gave one away they should have won. Northwestern is in the process of doing the same.
