Only reason to do more than 1 is more shots at winning money. I and several others put multiple brackets in my buddies pool because first gets over $500. Not bad for $5 a bracket.

I agree you get to only claim 1 bracket as actual predictions... any subsequent brackets are just increasing your odds, but don't get any bragging rights. Nothing wrong with trying to make money though.

But don't go around telling people you got the entire region correct. You didn't.

Wow. Nick Johnson scored 15 points in the last 180 seconds of the game. I knew he was completely shut out but didnt realize he still scored 15 (mostly thanks to FTs).

These are correct. All you did was hedge your first bracket(which is usually crap in my case) perfectly.

NCAA tourney bracket predictions is serious fucking business. I'll be executing anyone who says they have the final 4 correct and even changed a team in the last second of their first bracket. Don't be a bitch, go with your first instinct!

That 3 he hit was as important of a non-last minute 3 as I've seen from a team I'm rooting for. We absolutely needed it

Yeah....I'm an asshole for doing a second one for potential money. Unlikely that anyone else on here does that....especially since everyone came over here because of $12 dollars. Regardless.....not sure that I've ever had a perfect region with or without hedging (no hedging as I went with several different teams in multiple rounds from my sheet of integrity).....I have nothing else to be happy about because the money shot on that is out because I went with fucking Kansas.

I am all for having one bracket as you "bracket of integrity" and the rest as just trying to win $$$$. I did a few online and didnt even print out the bracket, but have my official one that I have written the picks that I use for any bragging rights.

My biggest brag was UD winning 2 games, and picking Wichita St to win it all as the ultimate jinx to protect IU's last team with the perfect season.

UD looked good last night, but will need to be much better to sniff an upset with Florida. I dont think the Flyers have what it takes and lose going away on Saturday.

That being said, if the refs are making the same foul calls in the Elite 8 than the game just played then we won't win.
I have Arizona winning it all in my bracket of integrity, so I am technically rooting for the Wildcats. But, for purposes of this website, I want Wisconsin to win lol.

Should be a great game. Hopefully the officials allow some fluidity of play.

Yeah. I wasn't getting "mad" at the refs last night, I was just concerned about foul trouble. If there's one factor more than most that can knock a team out in a single elimination format, IMO it's the refs getting a star player (or players) in foul trouble.

UCLA hurt me last night, but I've got two pretty live entries. Although the one I've been talking about is a longshot to win, so looks like I'm now pulling for FLA over LOU in the championship so my other bracket wins.

Anyway, as long as Michigan & MSU win tonight both my brackets are alive to win. That's why I do two brackets - it's about money, and money makes the games more interesting (though obviously not always as enjoyable).

I too need Sparty to win tonight. But the way UVA plays and defends scares me. If they happen to get hot from outside or Joe Harris starts making plays, Izzo and the boys could be in trouble. With that said this is probably the best team UVA has played all year so they will have to bring their A+ game to win.

Exactly. It's sort of sad that a buzzer beater or heroic last-minute play this time of year can actually make for a pretty miserable viewing experience (e.g. Stephen F. Austin's 4-point play). You shouldn't need a beta blocker just to watch a basketball game, but I was in a pretty unhealthy state during that overtime session. If that shit happens in the regular-season, I am jumping around like my team won. Of course, if the team you picked wins that way then it is pretty exciting. Playing a bracket for money has its advantages and disadvantages, I suppose.

Tonight for my bracket I need Iowa State (in my national final), Kentucky (almost all of the leaders ahead of me have Louisville in their final), Tennessee (I had Duke advancing; most have Michigan) and Virginia (most ahead of me have Michigan State in Final Four).

I doubt all that happens, but hope remains eternal.

I need Iowa St., MSU, Lousiville and Michigan (though, in the long run, UK or Tennessee would be good, since I have Duke in the FF)

Im top 10 in all my brackets so far, not sure how. But I think if Arizona beats MSU in the finals and MSU beats Iowa St. in the Elite 8, I will get enough points to catch at least 5 people ahead of me. Obviously, assuming Florida gets there as well as UofM or LV if its UT or UK, I will be 2nd with a chance for 1st as far as I can tell)

So, I got that going for me...which is nice.

Seems kind of crazy....Churchill Downs is literally staggering distance from Louisville's campus.
