Anyway, as long as Michigan & MSU win tonight both my brackets are alive to win. That's why I do two brackets - it's about money, and money makes the games more interesting (though obviously not always as enjoyable).
Exactly. It's sort of sad that a buzzer beater or heroic last-minute play this time of year can actually make for a pretty miserable viewing experience (e.g. Stephen F. Austin's 4-point play). You shouldn't need a beta blocker just to watch a basketball game, but I was in a pretty unhealthy state during that overtime session. If that shit happens in the regular-season, I am jumping around like my team won. Of course, if the team you picked wins that way then it is pretty exciting. Playing a bracket for money has its advantages and disadvantages, I suppose.
Tonight for my bracket I need Iowa State (in my national final), Kentucky (almost all of the leaders ahead of me have Louisville in their final), Tennessee (I had Duke advancing; most have Michigan) and Virginia (most ahead of me have Michigan State in Final Four).
I doubt all that happens, but hope remains eternal.
