I think it's Gus Johnson, not Verne Lundquist.

After seeing that first half, I totally understand the thinking that OSU would have been rolled by this Syracuse juggernaut.

Announcers: Eagle, Spanarkel and Johnson

Lundquist will have the MSU - Harvard game, though.

While Ohio State might have struggled to score since shooting over a zone is not their expertise, scoring period is not Syracuse's. It would've been a 48 to 44 game, last team with the ball wins.

I am positive that Verne Lunquist is calling the Syracuse game right now. Ian Eagle has a very distinct voice.

Unlike Verne. I still can't tell if he's being serious. If you've seen the NCAA tournament any time in the past 15 years you should be able to recognize Verne and Raft.

Who'd have thought the Oregon vs wisky game would be the most exciting game of the day.

I kind of thought it might since both Wisconsin and Oregon are offense-only teams lol. Hoping it stays close. It's been very entertaining thus far.

Nova-UConn should be the best game of the day. Really looking forward to that one. A great matchup of guard play.

On Cooney?

It is because that's the rule.

Me, haha. That one and UConn-Nova were the 2 I was excited for today, but that was definitely number one. 2 teams that can score the ball, figured it would be a fun matchup.

I swear this same thing happened with flagrants last year. You never see one during the season, and then you can't go a single game without one being called in the tournament.

Since the rule is written so vague ("excessive contact"), it's hard to say. I don't think that was excessive, elbows when you're moving the ball like that always look bad on the replay though

Not a shock. Probably the 2 best offensive teams left in the tournament.

Michigan State with 6 field goals on 6 possessions. Just toying with Harvard's D. The Crimson hanging in though...

BTW, it's somewhat shitty to root for Joseph Young. It's BS that he's even on that court...absolute BS.
