Refs/booth had gotten everything right to this point, but they missed that one.

I'll give Danielson rare credit, OSU should have been slow as hell to run that 4th down play hoping for a review (or just challenge it) and they snapped it pretty fast instead.

That is terrible. Absolutely terrible. Elliot had the first down by over a yard and the replay official just stopped working.

I think his elbow had hit the ground and after a review it would have remained short. With the way the offensive line has been playing I would have punted the ball.

No one to blame but Meyer there. He's been asleep at the wheel the whole game. Calls an option against Navy of all teams on 3rd and inches. Runs a hurry up on an obvious bad call that needed to be reviewed. Not to mention apparently not preparing the defense for Navy's offense at all the previous 6 months...

So much typical sky is falling. All I said is I would like to have one call go our way. We have a new offensive line, a new qb. A defend that was awful last year. I wasn't expecting a blow out. This is a team that should grow a lot through the year. I still think we win this game.

He under threw it too but probably hard to throw a 40 yard pass after 30 4 yard passes

I think it was a smart, purposeful, under throw. Braxton would have made him come back 4-5 yards to catch it.
