Who wants in this year?

Last year we had a $10 buy-in, I do believe. I dont remember how many guys we got to play, but hopefully we can get that many (or a few more) this year, as it was a solid number.

A few of us were discussing the buy-in amount this year...I threw out $25, but would be willing to go to whatever amount people wanted to pay.

Post your limit, and we will make a decision on how much this year.

With the added money, I would be paying out the top 3 places PLUS a few more random things. I have thoughts, but am willing for more ideas as well. The more the buy-in, the more we can have these "side bets" mean something and we can have more of them as well.

Ideas I had:
1. Highest total player
2. Highest 1st round (when we all are guaranteed to have all players)
3. Highest 1st round player (again, since we will all have all players)
4. Highest player average
5. Highest player game

Those were just off the top of my head, list any more you got and we will try to narrow this down and start the draft by this weekend.

I can't play this year. I'll still follow it closely, though. Will be back next year.

I'll do as high of a buy in as possible. Whatever people are willing to go up to is fine with me. I like those ideas, definitely think that would be fun to watch.

$25 is fine by me

6. Highest total each round
7. Highest average each round

6 would reward people for guys going far (as well as the overall will)
7 will keep people interested even if they only have 1 player advancing and the rest of their team goes out Rd1.

I'm good for all of them. Whatever buy-in the people want.

I'll play and throw in money. But I won't pay $25 to play lol.

Looks like we have 6 confirmed for $25. If we can get to 10 that would be enough I'd say. Anything else is gravy. If we can't get 10 (I don't see why we won't), I'll drop it to 15 or 20 and see if we can get some more.

I feel like there was 15 or so last year. I won a good amount of money.

I think so too. And 15 would be awesome again, but not sure it will happen at $25.

People need to get in here and join. I'm getting mine set up that I do with my friends, it's one of my favorite things about March Madness.

Mulva's gotta get in with his winnings. A few others who post on a regular basis but didn't want to do the entire season/draft league, I'd think they would get in too. We should easily be able to get 10...

Pretty sure last year a few played and stated that they would play but not play for money.

Last year we had people play and only some of us were in the money. I think like 3 people were just in for fun.

Yeah they're were 3 or 4 who didn't pay.

And I jumped in late in place of midstate, I believe.

I'm in, but need a reminder on how this works. I think I played 2 years back but I don't remember. Is it strictly how many total points your players score, is there a multiplier, what are we looking at here?

In addition to that list from last year, based off of his wanting to join the fantasy league next year I'd think ohiobucks might be interested.
