New Jersey residents now have 3 years before the only guns they can buy are "smart."

Ever*

I know they have similar letters, but not similar meanings. You not buying a smart gun means they win and that's what they want. Do you not own a watch because you had to hide a pocket watch in your ass for 5 years and then give it to your dead comrades son?

Why a watch, why not a finger print sensor? I don't much about the tech and if it is possible, but fingerprint sounds much better for self ID to a firearm.

Yeah, I don't want a watch or a fingerprint scanner. A gun that cannot be rendered useless from a remote location.

Fingerprint sensors are not very reliable.

You won't be able to fire that one-handed gangster-style.

I think California is starting to require serial number markings on firing pins to identify the shell casing after the gun is fired. I believe Smith and Wesson and one other company are fighting that and may pull out of California all together.

Hell I can carry I gun pretty much everywhere but the white house. and yet in California I am still restricted on what guns and magazines I can buy.

Yeah, microstamping. Technology so advanced it can be foiled by a file.
