I think said needs a ban. He constantly is posting personal info about like_that and has been told multiple times to stop. It was said that posting personal info would not be tolerated, yet this guy gets away with it time and time again. I say he's been warned enough.

Agree on the ban. I was in my phone and deleted that post and thread banned him.

We have gotten a little lax recently, but jostle cause it seems people aren't upset by some of the attacks...but the personal info is too far.

So, does Salto = Said? Wondering because it seems that on a few basement threads, there have been a lot of posts made and deleted by that person mocking those who Said was in his flamewars with in about the same way.

I'm just happy like_that got his way.

I don't disagree about like_that and I take the blame for letting it go on for so long that now it's pretty difficult to address without pissing off a large chunk of active users. But the passive-aggressive posts about it in this forum is kind of annoying.

I think a lot of it came from most of the reported posts about them or questions going completely unanswered (be it other mods or you). Even if the answer was "fuck it I don't care", it at least would have let us know how to proceed.

I mean, we could have PMed you to push for an answer, but it's in the past now.

I think part of it comes from how, of the more asshole-ish posters, different ones affect us guys differently. Like, for me, it's easy to phase out LT/CoA/S&L most of the time unless they're going onto completely unrelated threads to continue their grudges against posters (as one or two of them did with some thread in the CFB forum a couple weeks ago, that I believe Justin or someone told them to stop on).

While on the other hand, I'd love it if Tiernan had a stroke or something, but when I brought him up for some reason a ways back, the response I got was along the line of how he's easy to phase out, while those others are the problem.

So I think there's a lot of stuff where one person thinks some people are asses and others are insufferable pricks; but then another person thinks things in reverse where the others are just asses, while the first group are the total dicks.

I guess part of that is why I've just simply tried to stop responding as much as possible to anything Tiernan says, since I'm sure it's pretty obvious I look at him as a fucking stupid attention whore prick. It probably doesn't help when it looks like me or one of us is trying to instigate an argument with one of our pet assholes.

I mean LJ wasn't completely innocent, he did post things like where he coaches that would make it easy to find him, and that info was obtained from googling his registration email.

He didn't offer it initially. There were a lot of clues posted that made it easy for people to find out who he was. Anyways, it's not worth arguing over.
