If this actually goes through, I'd strip them of scholarships and pay them the cost of the scholarship. Then I'd make them pay for coaches, food, room and board, and training. Let's see if they can afford tuition and all of the other shit once we give them a check. Guarantee 80% of them go bankrupt trying to do it.

Oh, and have fun paying taxes on your new earnings you fuck jobs.

Good point. I assume the scholarship goes bye-bye if they do this? Or do they get the scholly and the money on top?

This is the best way to handle it. These players have no clue how good they have it.

It would be up to the employer. Question is, how much does Northwestern sports contribute to the University? I'm guessing somewhere around $0. If you're an employer, would you keep around a department that is not profitable? They're basically going to run private schools out of college athletics.

They don't though? They have no way to possibly take care of themselves at all while in college, I mean Napier from UConn was talking about how he goes to bed hungry sometimes because he has no money and obviously no time to get a job. Then if they sell an autograph or anything of theirs while they are at the biggest popularity most will ever have it's against the rules and a long suspension. Fuck the NCAA

No college athlete goes to bed hungry.

And if you believe that he does, well you're a fucking dumbass.

Napier is a liar. I don't know anything about UCONN basketball but I know at Ohio State football players get free food at campus facilities. Also, players at Ohio State receive a monthly stipend of $1,200 a month which they can spend on whatever they want(its mostly to allow for housing and food, but most players just blow it on beer, cars, and electronics). UCONN is probably similar.

This whole thing is a joke. I'd play football for Ohio State for the current benefits in a heart beat. I'd also play at any D1 school for the current benefits package too. It's a GREAT DEAL and these athletes have no clue how good they have it.

My buddy played football at Western Michigan and he had 2 different meal cards. He could eat double the times of any regular student. There's no possible way you could go hungry. He also had 4 roommates. He was using very very little of his stipend on any rent and utilities. He was always buying new things and lived pretty good. These athletes just want more..because it's how our society is. But imagine them living the life of a regular student for just a semester and they'd FOR SURE trade it in to go back on their athletic scholarship.

Not if they are paying the value of the scholarship. Unless they raise tuition for all.
