Now in the south the two big chains are Publix and Winn Dixie. IMO Publix is far superior and that is where I do our grocery shopping. I guess Winn Dixie needs the customers so they are starting these meal deals. This weeks offer which I just picked up included:
2 frozen Tombstone Pizza's any variety
1 half gallon Breyer's ice cream any flavor
1 box frozen garlic breadsticks
1 box frozen cheese sticks
1 2 liter Coke product
All for $11.78
Pretty good deal IMO!

That's a hell of a deal, especially when frozen pizza go for anywhere from 3-5 bucks a piece.

Yeah looking at the individual pricing it would have been about 30 bucks as well. The pizzas were marked 5.68 by themselves, Ice cream was I think 4.99, bread sticks were I think 3.99 and cheese sticks 3.99 as well. 2 Liter was 1.60 or so that adds up to 26.00 plus tax.

speaking of grocery deals I landed some organic spaghetti sauce for a quarter less than Ragu or Prego. What gives?

Port Orange Publix rules. They totally closed it and expanded then re-opened brand new. Its as big as a Walmart.

Everytime I see one of those Publix stores I always read it as Pubix and chuckle to myself.
