1) How do you get/download new Apps?

2) What Apps do you recommend?

I suggest you download the take it back app and get yourself the droid. I hate my blackberry. The apps on it are horrible.

I don't understand why people get Blackberry's to have as a toy.

Who said it was a toy? There are lots of apps that make digital life easier and are effective business tools. Just the email capabilities alone are worth the money.

Poynt
Pandora
Shazam
Flixster
Facebook
Si/Espn

You can get these in Blackberry App World and they're all free (Shazam is a free trial). You should also get BB Messenger if you know other people with BB's

I love my Storm 2. I've only had it for less than 24 hr and I can already tell you its the best phone I have ever purchased (my last phone was the LG Voyager which was a pretty sweet phone as well).

I like the Google Talk app better than BBM personally. I can IM with anyone who is logged into their gmail account.

Society, what the hell are you talking about? You said you don't understand why people get them as a toy, yet said that the email capabilities alone are worth the money?

1) the BB app world also www.crackberry.com Read, explore you'll find a lot of stuff. Somethings for you to know is that the Storm 2 supports Open GL which will give games and apps like the ones on the iphone. Like how detailed they are etc. So that's something cool to know.

2) The apps i have on my storm 1 are:
a new theme
opera mini 5 beta 2(better than BB browser, tabbed browsing rox)
pandora
patternlock(cool app to lock your phone, free version, but i went ahead and got the full version)
quicklaunch is a great app and worth the price
quickpull is a must have
where
youmail visual voicemail

You seem to be contradicting yourself. Just busting your balls. Because i was going to agree with your original comment, and then I saw that you also agreed that they are worth it solely for email capabilities.
