Since if the Steelers win and three other teams lose, they win out in a five-way (or so) tie for the final Wild Card in this year of praising Jebus that they're not in the NFC, where the season would have been over a few weeks ago.

And there we go! Enjoy!

Who would have thought, a Browns Steelers week and a game thread isn't started until Friday. Makes you long for the good old days. I think the Steelers will win but too many things have to happen to make the playoffs. I could see SD beating KC as the game that keeps them out.

Jets over Miami in Miami is the one that will definitely do it, IMO. After their letdown at Buffalo last week, I think the Dolphins murder New York. But SD over KC also could do it. And Cincinnati over Baltimore isn't remotely close to a sure thing...but compared to the other two, it's almost an iron-clad lock in comparison.

The Steelers hopes hinge on outcomes that are somewhat plausible. Same with the Colts getting the 3rd seed.

The Bengals getting the #2 (would require a win and the Bills to beat NE) or the Patriots getting the #1 (would require a win and Raiders over DEN) are much more unlikely.

Considering KC is only playing their starters (Charles, Smith, Bowe, etc) 1-2 series, I agree with you. SD wins that game rather easy (I'm counting on it for fantasy football).

Browns- steelers always has importance for the fans of each team.

Which is why that pathetic referee crew that did the Browns/Patriots should have been fired on the spot....they did a hell of alot more than cost the Browns a game.

I think it all evens out after a bit. Those two require one likely (or at least easily possible with Cincy-Balt) result and one huge upset to happen. For Pittsburgh, it requires four different things to happen, with two of them being rather unlikely all things considered (KC over SD and Jets over Miami on the road).

It makes no sense but I really think the Jets will rally around Ryan and beat Miami. Just a gut feeling.

Cincinnati doing their job and the Jets are at least tied with Miami, so things aren't going badly so far.

Jets up 14-7 at half.

Looking good so far, not but real confident KC will win.

Chiefs have 8 Pro Bowlers. All 8 of them are sitting with "injuries." LOL.

So Chase Daniel starting for KC, great.

We need a solid Philip Rivers performance from Philip Rivers. 4 picks and give up a defensive TD or 2.

Jets go up 17-7 with 4 and a half to play.

Cincy up 10 with 10 to play.

Yeah, they listed everyone the chiefs are sitting....not good for the Steelers. Same as what Indy did to us in 2007

That might have been the least intense Browns-Steelers game ever..lol.
I said all along it'll go down to the SD game but I'll be shocked if they lose.

Except Browns got shut out with a 10-6 record. Steelers are just 8-8.
