Kobe with 44 points and 11 assists, Lakers get a much needed win.

It was good to see LA not play down to the level of their competition again.

wouldn't a 124-118 win be playing down to the level of their competition? I mean, they did give up 118!

And they were down 7 at the half and only up 2 after three quarters. Against a currently 9-22 team. It was a good win for the Lakers, who showed heart to come back to beat a team while still without Artest, but they were playing to the level of the Warriors for at least the vast majority of the game.LTrain23 wrote: wouldn't a 124-118 win be playing down to the level of their competition? When you give up 21 more points than your average to an extremely lesser opponent, you are playing down to your opponent. Lakers tried to run and gun with Suns and Warriors the past two nights and it only worked once.
