A couple of my neighbors have nice ponds in their back yard. Hows the flooding in your neck of the woods? Any wet basements?

said, except for all those fence-posts, that looks like my back yard... Its quit raining now so I'm going out in a few hours and maybe have to put some fish back in the pond from out of the "puddles" around it.

WOW, what a mess and flooding!!! The night-crawlers are taking a serious hit but they'll be fish food.

With the snow melting plus all this rain I have few area where the water is coming in like little stream. This always happen with heavy rains so I'm not surprised.
The wind however has knocked down some branches and played havoc with my Christmas window wraths and lights.

good of news my gutter protection is still on the gutters ....

I live on top of the hill above a golf course. The adjacent river went above the banks and was 10 feet high at 9am, entire course flooded. Now it is down to 4 feet above the banks.

In a nearby town, some of the back streets had high water. Then, driving home, there was high water off to the sides of the highway, but nothing on the road, so things weren't too bad in my area.

I had to buy a new automatic pump since I was going to be out of town for a show last night. But apparently, the hose that was connected to it got a kink in it. The pump turned off and couldn't kick back on, so the drain that always causes us problems during heavy rains flooded part of our basement anyways.

Can't wait til the spring when we get our back patio fixed and I don't have to worry about this shit anymore.

Have a successful one in Jackson that started in a flood plain and only about 75 feet from home plate of our HS baseball field.

lakeflyerMike, thought your pic was from a drought at first......till I clicked on it & found your pond:). What part of Ohio is your pond at??? Central and North Central Ohio looked like the first few pics on this thread. Haven't been by Alum Creek but everything feeding into Hoover Dam & the Dam was close to flood level.

Bright side is no more snow and ice in the driveway (FOR NOW).
