He probably dropped a wrapper on the sidewalk and was arrested immediately. I mean this ain't FSU where criminals are benched for the opening play for rape and murder.

Saw on twitter Corey Smith, Dontre Wilson, Marcelys Jones, and one other player could also be gone. Not sure how true it is cause well it was on twitter and not from a trusted person.

If it's true, then, IMO, Urban is making his statement clear. #1 - He knows this is not a final 4 team. #2 - My way or the highway.

#3 - This ain't the SEC. Act like a clown, you're off the team.

I say good for Urban. Ohio State will always attract the nation's best and brightest athletes and one or two talents sent to the SEC isn't going to hurt us.

He's just not useful really. I mean people compare him to Percy Harvin but Harvin was a decent receiver. Dontre essentially is a small RB with some breakaway speed however given that most runs are not in wide open spaces, especially in a defensive minded conference like the B1G, he has very little value.

Jesus how many players have criminal activities at FL and OSU under this "coaching genius"? I just haven't seen any proof of that genius yet. And don't give me the 30-3 record BS, since he's been here the Bucks have played exactly 4 competitive teams and lost 3 of them.

I am as big a Buckeye fan as there is on this site and I have been highly critical of Urb since the beginning. It is nice to see someone else not drinking the koolaid.

This guy has been stealing his paycheck the entire time he's been here while hiding behind weak schedules.

The new college football playoff poll has exposed coaches like him though because he won't be able to get by with half assed effort and playing nobodies anymore.

I am not even going to touch his history of out of control players and discipline because the record speaks for itself.

Answer...just as many as any other big time program. Who in fact has called him a "coaching genius" btw? Is he a coach with two national titles under his belt? Last I checked, i think so. Last I checked, not too many of those around currently coaching have as good a resume'.

The guy is 1-3 against opponents with a legit chance to win and almost lost 2 others to horrible scUM and Penn St teams. He's the biggest overrated bum since the bigger fraud he replaced.

I'm right there with you and Tiernan at least in terms of being willing to question the true value of the $4 Million Super Coach...although Tiernan sees Tressel as a bigger fraud than Meyer. Tressel > Meyer IMHO :)

Urban is coaching a winning product but I can't say he's taken the program to a higher level just yet. At the moment he's being out-coached by Dantonio. And considering how the B1G as a whole is struggling for respectability, I'd have to say Meyer has his work cut out for him.

He should...I mean how else can he justify that golden paycheck?

Hey maybe when Urban starts having health issues again, the Buckeyes will start winning those national spotlight games and they won't need piss poor B1G officiating to do it!
