Anyone know the max number of weight classes a wrestler can go up in middle school? We've got a tourney coming up that doesn't have room for extra wrestlers, but we do have a couple open slots on our scoring roster where extra guys a weight class two down could fill.

I know you have to be at least 205 to wrestle 245. Other than that, I do not think there is a cap. A few year's back we had a 122 man-up and wrestle 135 because the 135 pussed out in a big dual. I think it was within the rules. I could be wrong on that.

I'm having trouble finding it in writing, but the rule is the same as high school. You can wrestle up 1 weight class from what you weigh in. The only difference is the previously mentioned minimum for hvy wt.
