$100,000.fine and " downgrading or losing draft picks a possibility after the draft order has been determined

Agree with the fine. Totally disagree with the draft picks especially when they're going yo wait to see what the draft order will be.

Agree with the fine and a pick (I don't think it should be more than one). What he did was inexcusable as he deliberately (or at least "accidentally", which I'm not buying) altered the competitive balance of the game.

I still don't know why Baltimore wasn't awarded a TD on that play as that was an option available to the refs.

Also, it sends a clear message to anyone else thinking anything similar.

They should definitely lose a pick.

I still think it wasnt intentional. Golic was saying today he has seen Tomlin, and other coaches, stand that close and watch on the replay board before.
I also agree that the punishment should be harsh. As for the refs.....I think they just blew the call, something they do on occasion. I see that penalty about once a year, Jets had it on them this year when a coach was in the white box on the kicks. Few years ago saw a ref collide with a coach. It happens and then it gets called.

Fine should be higher. $100K is in the same ballpark as off the field stuff. Should be more in the Belichick neighborhood.

I agree that the refs blew it. But also, it seems like a rule that is rarely if ever applied? Anyone know when the last time a team was awarded a TD?

I think all refs will be aware of it now.

I agree that the penalty itself is normally okay if called (Jets this year). But this changed the play on the field (not just the refs ability to run/see) and could have changed the outcome of the game.

Awarded a TD?
I have never seen it...maybe the infamous play in I think college football where a player ran onto the field and tackled the guy long ago?

Fine should be higher with no draft considerations. Since the fine wasn't high enough, I don't mind a 2nd/3rd rounder being taken.

The idea of draft picks is ridiculous.

He knew exactly what he was doing.
