We own it on dvd but doubt we'll watch it again, it's in the back of the closet....hasn't aged particularly well. Too much schmaltz, and even for a fantasy movie it lacks the level of believability to sustain multiple viewings.

Didn't say I didn't enjoy it, just not nearly as good as advertised.

I have to disagree. This (Gump), along with Shawshank, A Few Good Men and a couple others are movies I'm drawn to whenever they're on.

I watched Gravity Friday night, first time I saw it. I thought it was pretty good. Nothing great, but not 3/10. I'd give it a 6/10.

Gravity is kicking rear at the BAFTA's, there might be some very upset people on Oscar night. Still need to see American Hustle...looks like a movie I'd really enjoy.

I watched Groundhog Day from start to finish yesterday.

It's always been a favorite of mine, but it's been a while. Such a great flick! I love the parts when he's trying over and over to get in the his coworkers pants.

I love listening to people's views about how long Phil was stuck in Groundhog Day. My guess....had to be around 10 years to learn everything.

Sometimes my intentions are to actually count how many times it seems like he starts a new day but that doesnt work because of how long he says it took him to master the card toss into the hat.

The Monuments Men--8.5. The story is ok,but the cast is incredible. It's gotten to the point I've got to see every movie John Goodman is in.

I wanna see this. Goodman is one of the best. As much as I hated the show Roseanne, he was insanely good in it.

Kind of describes my feeling. Almost like they tried too hard to cram in too much drama, and as a result much of it felt underdeveloped and fell flat.

The scene that pretty much sums it up: "ok....I have almost no idea what to do....wait, here's the manual right where I expected it to be....now I'll just randomly open it right to the page I need....despite my obvious lack of technical expertise a quick skim and I know exactly what to do.....oh, look, George Clooney is back...."
