With leagues coming to a close, just wondering how everybody has made out, good picks, busts, injuries.... etc

Draft Pick: #4 in a 12 team league, took MJD and was the best player on my team. Almost took Forte but obviously made the right choice.

Biggest Bust: Not sure I could call him a bust, but Steve Smith (Car) underperformed for me all season. Especially considering he was my 3rd pick and #1 WR.

Best Free Agent Pick Up: Donovan Mcnabb; he was dropped from two teams before I picked him up.

Biggest Injury: Brian Westbrook, my #2 pick was done after 2 weeks. Thankfully I was able to pick up Steve Slaton... only for him to get hurt as well.

Best Sleeper/Late round Pick: I got Percy Harvin in the 8th or 9th round, and he ended up with the second most points on my team.

Overall: Finished 1st in our 12 team league going 11-4 and won $600. I was almost positive I would lose my playoff games because of injuries, but ended up scoring more points in the championship game than any team all season. Now that it's over, I ready to do it all over again.

God, I was terrible!

Picked 13th out of 14.

First pick took Moss (he was ok I guess, but wasnt consistent which is what I want out of a first rounder. Too many blow up games followed by single digit weeks)

Best pick: Wow, this is pathetic. It was probably Ryan Grant. I guess Hightower (11th round) was better value, but not overall.

Worst move. Dropped Sidney Rice after 3rd week.

Best move: 3 I guess, I picked up Beanie Wells in week 8. I picked up Miles Austin after his breakout week. Picked up Vince Young week he started. Young wasnt as flashy as the other two, but considering Matt Ryan was my QB, it was a great pick-up.

All things considered I finished 7th and out of the playoffs. If Slaton plays in week 13 I win my league. I scored over 150 in every week of the playoffs. I lost week 13 to keep me out of the playoffs by 3 points, if I knew Slaton was out, I wouldve started his replacement Chris Brown and that wins me that week.

Oh well. I really drafted some duds. Witten, Ryan and Slaton being the biggest duds. Even Ryan Grant was pretty bad until the last 3 weeks.

We keep 2 players. Its pathetic that Beanie and Austin are probably going to be my 2 guys although I will have to evaluate Moss and Jonathan Stewart after this offseason.

Just lost in Final Four. I'd still be in if I'd have started Chad Henne of Payton and knew I probably should have.

With leagues coming to a close, just wondering how everybody has made out, good picks, busts, injuries.... etc

Draft Pick: Took Gore w #4(had westbrook as keeper)

Biggest Bust: Westbrook

Best Free Agent Pick Up: Robert Meachem was great for me!

Biggest Injury: Brian Westbrook,

Best Sleeper/Late round Pick: I got Ray Rice in the 8th or 9th after I spent ALL summer hyping him up to my friends. Fail!

Overall: Lost in first round of playoffs because my team under performed.
Schaub
Gore
Rice
Colston
Marshall
Meachem
Celek
Jets/Eagles(depending on match up)
whoever the NO kicker is that week

That should have won me the league but shit happens.

My other league I was in 9/10 going into the last week, jumped to the 4/10 spot beat the #1 seed and lost in the finals.

My last league I snuck into playoffs as well and lost by 10 in first round. Bummer.

Draft Pick: #12 out of 12. I took Peyton Manning, he was our leagues leading scorer

Biggest Bust: Brandon Jacobs, and it's not even close

Best Free Agent Pick Up: Jamaal Charles. He was a beast after Johnson left.

Biggest Injury: Leon Washington. He was doing well until he got hurt

Sleeper/Later Round: None

Overall: Finished 5th out of 12. Not bad for being a last second replacement. I didn't know the league well enough to have a very successful draft. I have my strategy for next year set! I'll take a few of the tops guys early, then focus on returners to fill out my RB/WR/Flex positions.

My team was solid it was just a matter of scoring the highest in the league but finishing 4th and going 8-7. Seemed like on 6 of the 7 losses I would have beaten 6 -7 of the other teams in the league that week but happened to play the highest scorer that week.

Draft Pick: 9 of 10. Chris Johnson in 1st rd. DeSean Jackson was money in Rd 5

Biggest Bust: Eddie Royal, dropped him after like week 4

Best Free Agent Pick Up: Austin Collie or Jacoby Jones

Biggest Injury: Chris Cooley

I won it all as the last seed heading into the playoffs.

Turner was my first pick and ended up getting that nasty ankle injury. Luckily, I also had Gore and picked up Jamaal Charles.

I had the best WR corp in the league. Andre Johnson was amazing as usual and I took a chance and drafted Harvin in the next to last round. I also picked up Miles Austin after his epic performance against KC.

Kurt Warner was very up and down this year but overall, gave me a solid QB.

Finley ended up being a good pick up at TE for me.

Draft pick #11 (16 team league)

Great start at 4-1

Hit a tough stretch in the middle and fell to 6-4

finished 8-4 won my division and clinched the #3 seed.

Only team to go over 1,000 points.

Deemed the favorite to win it all (my undoing)

Lost in the semifinals by 8, thanks to Tom Brady putting up a whopping 7 points!!

Fuck Jim Caldwell. How's that?

I'm up after the 1 oclock games 95-57 in the championship.

I have Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, And Phillys defense to go. He has Brent Celek, Thomas Jones, and San Frans D left.. I'm sitting pretty good right?

Fuck Jim Caldwell.

Championship!

Ray Rice was a huge steal in the fourth round and Ronnie Brown going down with an injury sealed the deal as I had Ricky Williams.

Points wise, I owned the entire season.

Brees, R. Rice, P. Thomas, Fitzgerald, V. Jackson, A. Gates....

Our league has an "all play" record, which is what your record would be if you played every other member of the league, every week. My 'all play' record had a .700 winning %, which was first in the league. I was ranked #1 in power ranking.

Despite all of the above information, I didn't even make the playoffs....ghey.

2-10 Last place. But it's a full keeper league so I'm pretty sure I'm set up for a nice run.

Right now my main problem areas are WR and QB. I will address both this offseason hopefully.

My Current Roster for the next year:

QB Warner, Cutler, Cassell
WR: Mike Sims-Walker, Harvin, Crabtree, Bowe, P. Garcon
RB: Rice, T. Jones, M. Turner, J. Charles, K. Smith
TE: Ben Watson
K: Kaeding
Def: Baltimore
I have 1 empty spot on the roster to fill before we get locked out next week so I'm trying to find a suitable FA, but aside from Garrard and J. Campbell there are no QB's available.

Draft Pick: #4 in a 10 team league

Biggest Bust: Matt Ryan...2nd pick.....grrr...

Best Free Agent Pick Up: Robert Meachum/Viking TE whose name I can't pronounce or remotely spell (see next line)

Biggest Injury: Owen Daniels....was a TE point scoring machine

Best Sleeper/Late round Pick: Rashard Mendenhall.(last pick) Matt Schaub (next to last pick)..

(new category) MVP of team....DeSean Jackson and Matt Schaub

Overall: Finished 3rd, lost in the semis by 7 pts because I was going against Maurice Jones Drew (colts game) Was still leading my 21 points going into Monday night...but Wash made Eli look like a passing god....

I did everything I could, I was projected to win every week, but my players underperformed. I finished overall with more points than anyone else. What really hurt me in my losses was the fact the Brett Favre turned the Vikings into a passing team and AP didn't have a great games for me.
