'The Last Ship' has promise and could get really good.
Just saw that 'Banshee' isn't coming back until January
Agreed. I think it could be really good for the typical 20 or so episodes in a season. But then I think it could be a challenge to remain fresh and compelling when you consider the premise. It will get old just wandering the seas on a ship, and if it becomes another bleh survival drama [just on a ship] that could be difficult to pull off. On the other hand, their tech and ability to travel the globe opens up a lot of potential "similar" shows don't really have.friendfromlowry;1629383 wrote: 'The Last Ship' has promise and could get really good.
Watched a couple eps of it tonight. Ruxin and Andre are so damn funny.ernest_t_bass;1631785 wrote:Watching The League now. Fucking hilarious.
First few seasons were great. Last couple, meh...ernest_t_bass;1631785 wrote:Watching The League now. Fucking hilarious.
When did it start?bases_loaded;1631824 wrote:Anyone watch The Leftovers? Kept me interested, but after watching the previews for rest of the season, not so sure.
Yeah, thats exactly what I am worried about here. Im hoping they realize people get pissed off without knowing. Flash Forward was short lived because of it and LOST, while never losing ratings, had fans pissed off all the time. Both Lindelof shows.TedSheckler;1631914 wrote:In the book we never find out what happens. It was a book about the people that lost loved ones and how it effected their lives. Boring horseshit.
Heard good things about this show. Most cable seasons though are like 12-14 eps and not like the networks of 20 plus.gut;1629486 wrote:Agreed. Some people probably don't like the way Falling Skies kind of "reboots" and jumps ahead to have little continuity with previous seasons. I actually think it kind of works for them, otherwise you end-up with a dull and meandering human interest piece masquerading as sci-fi.

What show?wubdg;1632885 wrote:Season 2 is much slower and darker with the plot line. We're 10 episodes in and we still like it but it is definitely not as funny...
It's on my DVR along with about eleven other shows. Was it good?bigdaddy2003;1634831 wrote:Did anyone watch Extant last night?
Yes, and I thought it was pretty good...also, really liking Halt and Catch Fire and The Last Ship.bigdaddy2003;1634831 wrote:Did anyone watch Extant last night?
Yeah, I saw that. I like it, but won't be too upset if it gets pulled.Laley23;1634976 wrote:Don't get too attached to Halt and Catch Fire. Ratings are atrocious.
3rd episode was much betterbigdaddy2003;1635474 wrote:Halt and Catch Fire isn't bad but I won't be disappointed if it gets canceled.
I'm about 25 mins into FX's new show Tyrant and I'm not that impressed so far.
