Passing of the torch...the first OSU game my old man ever took me to was when the Super Sophs led by Rex Kern beat no. 1 Purdue in 67. Back then the Boilermakers were led by the great Leroy Keyes and Mike Phipps. It's a damn shame to see how far they have dropped since those days.

Or shit, just a handful of years ago, when they weren't great, but at least fielded a competitive team capable of pulling off upsets. It's amazing how they've fallen from competent to flat-out abysmal so quickly.

I do think Hazell is the guy to turn it around, from what I've seen out of him on The Journey he's exactly what they need. They're very young as well

Hazell seems like the right guy, but they are abysmal. Not sure who thought it was a smart decision to hire Danny Hope. He wasn't even a good coach at Eastern Kentucky.

I'm confident Hazell will turn them around and at least make them a competitive team. What he did with Kent St in his two years was nothing short of amazing. Give him another year or two and good things will start happening

He learned at the knee of "Jimmy the Liar" so he should be able to BS a career until his eventual fuck ups catch up with him.
