Do you put them up? Do you drive around specifically to look at the lights? I don't put them up, mostly cause I live by myself, but I always take the nieces and nephew around one night to look at them.

I do every once in a while. I'll probably put them up this year if I get a nice enough day after Thanksgiving.

Pickerington used to have a neighborhood with a good display with lights that danced to music and they took food donations for the local food bank

I put lights up every year. Never before Thanksgiving. Usually the weekend after.

We also drive around to look at other's lights.

We put lights up. Not near as many as we used to. Mainly because when we put up a lot of lights-they always got vandalized. Our neighborhood used to be all lit up and they used to have horse drawn carriage rights thru the neighborhood but not anymore due to the vandalism. Stupid shits.

We don't really, although the wife puts up 8 f'ing trees. It's like a forest in our house. The kids like to go to a couple houses that do the light/music stuff.

Yes, and we'll walk through our surrounding neighborhoods to check out the lights.

5 of them are what I would consider full size 8'-10'. The rest are around 4'-5'. Plus the kids each have little ones they decorate in their rooms. It's insane.

The guy that used to organize it for the neighborhood off of Hynes moved away a couple of years ago. There is another neighborhood that does it off of Diley, I think it is Fox Glen it is on the same side of the street as the school.

Do you live inside of a Thomas Kinkade painting, Belly? That looks pretty nice. I like the classic look with the wreaths on the windows.

My dad always decked out our house growing up -- more than 15,000 lights during the peak of his Tim Allen Santa Clause phase. Not something I'd ever do, however. I'm just not that ambitious.

My parents put up lights every year even though they live in the country and no one sees them. My mom is crazy about Christmas and decorations. She had five trees every year in the house I grew up in. After that it was only one, but she wants to go back to multiple this year. My stepdad also gets a live tree with a root bulb each year and then plants it in the yard post-Christmas.

I have never had my own house until this year, and I am definitely planning on putting up lights and a wreath outside. I always had a tree and stockings in the various apartments I lived in when I was in school and will again at the new house.

Belly, there looks to be quite a bit of snow in your pics (which, btw, look very cool)--whereabouts do you live?

I'm assuming, and I might be wrong, but this is probably not a pic from this year.
