D1 is technically a regional quarterfinal since they have 2 regions of 16 instead of 4 regions of 8 (their regional final doubles as the state semifinal)

The third week of the playoffs, the regional finals (D2-D7), would double as the state quarterfinal, if you want to look at it that way.
