I don't drink special brew craft beer -- if I drink beer, it's George Killians, Newcastle or Smithwick's or pretty much nothing -- but I don't correlate it with being a hipster. I have friends who love niche beer such as Stella or Spotted Cow (which is actually pretty good) and they are far from hipster. I don't think one has to drink Red Dog to be considered a man.

I also do not correlate "fashion" with being a hipster, either. I like nice clothes and my wardrobe is extensive (I was a pretty big prep in high school, but high school girls ate that shit up). There is a big difference between a wardrobe and a costume department, which is what some so-called hipsters look like they have come out of.

So while I don't consider myself a hipster, not all of the stereotypes are valid.

Basically it is when you are too lazy too get up for breakfast, but not meeting someone important enough to waste time having lunch with.

Its not bad...usually the places arent very packed at that time.
