I'm sure there has been many topics on this...but I just got the game for Christmas and am not really impressed. The gameplay is reallllly slow...my guys can barely move it seems like. There also isn't a lot of "out of game" options it seems like. I think the game is geared more towards online play, but I hate playing online.
What does everyone like about the game? Maybe I am overlooking stuff.

I liked a lot of it. You can customize the sliders to play as fast or slow as you want.
My main complaint is that I cannot break away with Chris Johnson even though he has 99 speed. He'll break huge runs, but I always get caught inside the 10 by a safety or corner.

I like online play, so when I pick it up it'll be good.
I also am anxious to take draft classes from NCAA '10 and put em in Madden so I can draft my own guys from Ohio State

I just got it as well as a PS3. The last time I played Madden was 3 years ago, and it doesn't seem like much has changed.
I do like it overall, but I do notice it being a little slower.
And I don't know if it's just me or what, but it's harder than hell to run the ball. I can't break more than a 3-4 yard run. I just throw the ball every play now. When back when I used to play, I'd run the ball 25+ times a game.

You've gotta grind it out to win.... 3-4 yards is the norm... I kind of like it that way... its hard to run the ball in that league to begin with... when you break one you've really accomplished something

It might be that I'm playing with the Bengals and Madden considers them to have a bad offensive line and an average RB. I haven't checked the ratings. I just don't remember it being this hard to establish a running game.

That is why you are supposed to update the rosters.thedynasty1998 wrote: It might be that I'm playing with the Bengals and Madden considers them to have a bad offensive line and an average RB. I haven't checked the ratings. I just don't remember it being this hard to establish a running game.
