A legit 2-5 team traveling to a meh 6-2 team. Brady has not been great but hard to imagine him not doing enough to get to 20 points....which all but guarantees a win vs the Steelers.
It looks quite likely that by December.....Pittsburgh will have absolutely nothing to play for the rest of the season....not even spoiler unless Cincy is battling for a bye or Cleveland gets it going again. That will suck.

All bias aside, when I was watching the end of that game yesterday, I realized how bad Roethlisberger had become. At times, he has "Brandon Weeden moments." That interception that got called back toward the end of the game was ridiculous. He just flipped the ball up for grabs.

He was pretty good for 3 quarters but rarely getting 2 seconds with receivers that don't do well getting open....seemed to wear on him yesterday.BR1986FB;1524896 wrote:All bias aside, when I was watching the end of that game yesterday, I realized how bad Roethlisberger had become. He, AB, and situational back Dwyer are the only 3 offensive players that are doing a good job this season.

Big Ben was always solid, but i think he got way too much credit for the good steelers teams. They won their first super bowl in spite of his terrible game. The 2nd one he played pretty well in though.

NE has been so meh all season that I would not be too surprised if the steelers actually win this game, and the steelers are b a d.Ironman92;1524838 wrote:A legit 2-5 team traveling to a meh 6-2 team. Things working in Pittsburgh's favor:
1. They utterly played like shit yesterday, making every mistake in the book, and still only lost by three points. Leading one to believe they could rise above themselves if they come out pissed off about letting one get away. I mean, they missed field goals, turned the ball over and gave up a 93-yard QB run and still came close! A remotely passable performance and they're 3-4 with 3 straight wins...
2. This is the sort of game that'd be easy for them to get up for, as the two teams have had quite the rivalry in big-time games over the last decade-plus. While they stink this year, they have a lot of guys who've played in big games with the Pats and, as their win over the Ravens showed, they have the ability to get up for games against teams they're used to playing in important situations.
3. New England has been sort of blah and under-the-radar for a team with that good of a record. Probably because of the shaky wide receiver play preventing them from looking so effortless on offense.
Things working against Pittsburgh:
1. OH MY FUCKING GOD HAVE YOU SEEN ALL THE STUPID FUCKING SHIT THEY DO TO SHOOT THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT!!!!! AND THEIR LINE SUCKS AND THEY JUST RRRRAAAAAAGGGGGGEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Repeat #1 over and over until any good feeling from the "things in their favor" list is a distant memory.

For a second I thought they could beat oakland, then remember that it has been a long time since they have played well out there.

Fuck out line...fuck them. Foster is THE worst.
Ben not getting 2 seconds and Haley's play calling are just nightmarish.
And the blitzing of Brady has to be here and there because rarely will they get him but often he will burn them.

And what is on Ben's hand that he can't control a 40 yard toss at all. That ball completely fluttered out of his hand for a fair catch interception.

Seriously.....they don't even know who to block.
Foster and Adams are F- offensive lineman.....I would honestly take any NFL lineman over those two.
Draft 4 please.

Just continue to not understand how Dwyer was not on the team to start the season. He's the best pass blocker and runs well virtually every chance he gets.
But those things aren't important in football.
