I'm in a league that has been together for about 10 years...we've always kept any 3 players each year, which changed to 4 for next season. This is a $100 league, 12 team, .5 ppr
My team:
QB- Stafford
RB - Rice
RB - D. Wilson/P. Thomas/S. Vereen (problem here, Wilson was supposed to not suck, and Vereen got hurt)
WR - R. Cobb (ouch)
WR - R. White (ouch)
WR - Decker
WR - K. Allen (yay)
WR - T. Austin
TE - J Graham
My team looked great on paper coming into this season, but as you may have guessed, I'm 2-4 (after going undefeated 2 seasons ago and being one of the top 3 teams last season). My keepers were Rice/Graham/White
I'm able to trade R. White and T. Austin for CJ Spiller --- seems good to me, thoughts?
Then my 4 keepers next year would likely be Spiller/Rice/Graham + Cobb or Decker or Allen

I would definitely do it, I think. Spiller will be a beast once he healsMcFly1955;1519786 wrote:I'm in a league that has been together for about 10 years...we've always kept any 3 players each year, which changed to 4 for next season. This is a $100 league, 12 team, .5 ppr

Thanks.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1519790 wrote:I would definitely do it, I think. Spiller will be a beast once he heals
That's my thinking, too. Plus there is no way I'm keeping Roddy next year, I would keep Cobb and probably Keenan Allen (I'm high on him right now) over keeping a 30+ year old Roddy. CJ will be a sure keeper next year, and probably a 1st or 2nd rounder in most drafts.
The guy I'm trading has J Charles and Knowshon, so he doesn't need Spiller now, but I think he'll regret it next season come draft day...I hope...

I'd definitely do that trade. Just better hope spiller comes back healthy soon. I honestly think he should take a game off and heel close to 100%. Be a lot better than playing half the snaps at 60%.
I have a trade proposal waiting for me with spiller too. Either a third round pick for him. Or josh Gordon for him.
P manning
Lacy
McCoy
Marshall
Antonio brown
Josh Gordon
May do it for josh Gordon

Id do it.
Why does that guy want that trade though? Roddy will probably be ok towards the end of the year, Austin sucks though and cant even see the field. Why not look elsewhere for a trade partner first?
Either way, yeah Id do the trade. But your team still wont be very good with all those injuries.

Yeah, with me being 2-4 and with all of the injuries I have little hope for this year (Even though I'm just 1 game out in my division)...It's a competitive league and I'd say about 9 out of the 12 players are pretty good, 3-4 of those very good and consistently in the playoffs...There is a lot of trading and a lot of draft pick trading.Laley23;1519795 wrote:Id do it.

I just did my trade....It was actually a 3 person trade but I simplified it here.
-Austin for a 4th round pick next year (which is truly like an 8th round pick since we are keeping 4..I was ready to drop Austin anyway, so I got lucky that someone actually wanted him).
-4th Rd pick and Roddy for CJ Spiller
Roddy is a complete stud when healthy, so I think the person I traded with is hoping that happens, and with Julio out Roddy will be a target monster. He is starting Knowshon and Charles each week, and CJ is on his bench and would be at least for the next several weeks, especially if knowshon keeps it up...

True, but he will be 33 years old next year...I'm thinking more about next year at this point since I would need a miracle this season to come in the top 3-4...sportchampps;1519901 wrote:Ur not scared about how good Fred Jackson is playing
