Seems like Carl's voice might be changing....and he isn't going to like that Jonestowner stealing his girlfriend!

Oh snap, I guess that problem was already solved

I've always wondered why the animals have been spared. I'm not sure if something was up with that pig other than natural causes or not.

And at first I thought you were talking about that disheveled woman, who when talking in previews made you think she was some kind of special walker. She was special, alright.

Definitely talking about the kid at the end. Also they showed that one walker a few times that had weird eyes sorta like the kid had.

Oh, I missed those eyes on the other walker.

Side note: didn't realize it, but they said on Talking Dead that Darryl is now the Leader

With the way they zeroed in on the water dripping from the shower right before that kid turned, I'm wondering if it's some sort of foreshadowing that the water supply is contaminated.

Cabin Fever meets Walking Dead...

Who knows, but theoretically you'd expect the virus to mutate at some point.

If it starts affecting the animals finally, and they are eating those animals...

I figure it's either the water or the animals thats going to cause a problem. They did focus in on the water but they also made a point of that kid going up to daryl and thanking him for getting the deer.

I don't think the water dripping out at the end was anything significant.

They all have the virus anyway. what difference if they eat it from an animal?

They don't have the mutated virus. Or you could get some other disease that kills you quickly and quietly, but I think the deal with the eyes is there is some sort of mutation.

Maybe these zombies won't be as stupid, so things could get more interesting.

There was also that animal in the woods that Rick was walking towards until that weird lady stepped in. My bet is animals. Didn't really understand the point of that lady, could barely understand her

The more I think on the episode, the more I think it probably is animals. In addition to what you all already mentioned, Hershel had the line where he told Rick that Rick has done a great job because he almost has them completely self-sufficient with all of the plants and livestock they have.

And this show's M.O. is that once things start working well...that shit gets fucked up.

That scene with Rick and Hershel, along with the the one with Daryl and the nerd kid gave me the notion that Rick was no longer in charge.

I like Daryl, but it would be a mistake to make him the group leader.

The part that sticks out to me is when Daryl shook the kids hand, he licks his fingers first!

Well I think we know that there is some kind of "flu" strain going around, or at least thats what they want us to believe. Who does everyone think is feeding the mice to the Walkers and burning the bodies?

I think they teased in the trailer for the season that the governor was the one feeding the walkers to come there.

My wife and I thought the same thing, but like YTOWN I also thought maybe The Gov. is sneaking in there an causing some issues!

I think one of the kids is going to turn out to be a pyschopath. Or it could be the governor.

Did anyone happen to catch previews of next week on Talking Dead? If not I won't ruin it for you...

I think it's the Gov feeding the walkers, he's not dead yet.
