This is just sad...

pretty soon running and any physical movement will be banned as that is potentially dangerous as well!

Call it an overreaction or whatever, but it's still a direct result of parents taking every opportunity to sue anyone for anything. This country is in dire need of tort reform.

Feel bad for parents that don't have an option to send their kid somewhere else.

Chicken or the egg correlation? Who is to blame, lawyers or parents and who started it?

I place more blame on the lawyers, personal injury, who hawk these people into filing rediculous suits from the beginning. After it really got started that you could get $$ for alot of shit like this, then parents started to seek out the lawyers

You no longer have any credibility on this board, might as well move along DA.

Why? If you're still here, actually having credibility must not be a requirement.

Single-hadedly[sic] smoking out a thread no one cares about doesn't negate the other 99% of the time you're an idiot. Hope this helps.

If you actually read the article, the school banned hard balls due to construction at the school which leaves limited space for the kids to play. They are afraid the that tight space makes it unsafe to play with a hard ball.

That's really not that unreasonable. As long as they get the privilege back when the construction is over.

I predicted it was the East Coast before I read the article.
