So guys... If you brought up the topic of moving in with your girl, and she said no... Would you be ok with that? Or would you be upset? Possibly end it? Not sure what the typical reaction to expect would be?!

Depends on where I thought we were at in the relationship.

I would be okay with it, unless we were engaged or had been banging for 5+ years exclusively.

Well I'd never live with a girl before marriage.. not for religious reasons, but b/c I'm not giving up freedom for a girl I'm only dating. So... i guess I'd ask her why she can't seem to find any available apartments if she suggested moving in.

I'm not a guy but seeing that most men are usually so desperate, they should be more than happy to wait around til you decide what you want.

Get ready for the volume on the insecurity to hit 11.

The crappy thing for me is, I've asked three different people to move in with me over the course of a lifetime, thinking each time they'd say "no" and that would open the door for my "we aren't on the same page" speech. Sadly, they all moved in and my little speech didn't really make sense a couple months later.

Officially dating not quite a year. Known each other longer. His daughter basically has taken over my spare bed room as hers. He hasn't left my house in like a month. And I'm ok with that. I guess its just the control part of me... I like knowing there's the option of him NOT being there if I don't want him too be. Plus I'm neurotic about my space, and things being exactly as they should, and where they should. And if he moves in I'd possibly have to compromise on that. That's awful of me right?

Quick question: Am I needing her to move in to pay my rent or other bills? If so, I'd be upset. If not, I'd be cool and tell her that she doesn't need to live with me in order to bring me a sandwich.

I would be ok with it if she let me go "backdoor" as a consolation prize.

Power I... That's hysterical!! And actually, he's not desperate. He's actually quite amazing. And its not that I don't know what I want... Its just that I honestly don't know if I'm capable of doing what I want! I am seriously OCD anymore lol

Would NEVER marry a woman without living with them first. Just b/c you love a woman..doesn't mean you can live with her.

The thought of seeing a gf in my house every day I come home for work upsets my stomach.
