I bought tons of presents for 5 kids, and the one thing my kids end up playing with the most is the $3.99 mouse shaped laser pointer I bought for the cat. I didn't realize it was so much fun pointing a laser light at someone's butt. Silly me.

I have one of those. My cat goes nuts over it.
I bought my gf's 5 year old about $150 worth of stuff and gave him my Wii. His favorite toy. A stupid little $10 puppy i bought as a joke.

One was the daughter's bf, so I can only take credit for four. And at this point, I'm only taking credit for 2 of those.

I spent a TON on my 13 and 11 yrs old kids. And they play with a $5.00 game I bought for my boyfriends 5 year old daughter. I told them I'll remember this for next year! Lol

I could have gotten away with a free Christmas for my 10-month old - cardboard boxes and wrapping paper are endless forms of entertainment. Anything else and he observes a 20 second attention span before scouring the house for a damn cardboard box.

I did make a monumental amount of food this weekend. You would have been one happy camper at my house. ;)

4cards, nah, I'm just not liking 2 of them very much right now. (j/k!! I have the best, most perfect kids in the world!)

I know a guy who all he got for his 6-month old grand daughter for Christmas was a 176-count case of diapers. The parents were extremely thankful!

Sometimes its the simplest things that cause the most enjoyment. My sister got a ton of techno stuff but she got the most enjoyment out of playing with my 6 year old cousin's little magnets tht you can build into stuff

I've found that a big cardboard box can provide loads of entertainment for little kids, even the 13 and 14 year olds that post on here!

power_i, your post had me LMAO. That was one of the faves at our house was the kitty shaped laser pointer we got for the cat. Hours of entertainment! Although the 16 year old was too busy locked in his room with 3 X-Box 360 games and a brand new 42" plasma flat screen to care too much! LOL
