I have never heard of the guy, read the article and most of the arguments I have heard before (mostly by PhD scientists who happen to believe in either ID or creation).

I think it funny that you have stated a disdain for your perceived dismissal by me of climate scientists but yet you immediately dismiss this guy because he gives evidences against the mainstream belief.

No. I just said this individual character is a derp. I respect guys like Michael Behe and wouldn't resort to calling him a derp despite his framing of irreducible complexity as scientific argument rather than a philosophical argument, etc. This Stephen Myer character is a Derp in the same way that Richard Dawkins is a derp. There are way better messengers out there for the views they evangelize.
