As per Cal Adams, the DIII Central District Sectional Tournament will no longer be divided into two separate locations!!!! There will be one tournament held at Cardington with 25+ teams... I also asked him if that means they will send more then 4 kids to the District... He said they will still only take 4 per weight!!!!!! Any comments???

New divisional alignment this year, more teams moved up a division than moved down. I think 5 moved up to D2 and only one moved down. Subtract the east schools that come over to the central I think that puts the central at only 20 schools. Then also East Knox, Fredericktown, Northridge, and Utica (the lone school that moved down to D3) are all going to the east district sectionals. Which will give you your grand total of 16 teams at one sectional which is enough for a full bracket. I may be off by a school or 2 which might put you at 18 schools. But any D3 coach on here will tell you you will rarely have a full bracket at sectionals, and if you do the central runs a 2 day tourny so the 5 match rule won't come into play.
