Alright, in one league with the way it's set up I can basically have anyone I want. Julius Thomas and Julian Edelman are available so I'm looking for opinions on what to do. It's a keeper league and I have Tyler Eifert for $3. If I keep him and he pans out I can have him for years. But my team is built to win now (Start Tony Romo, Marshawn Lynch, Brandon Marshall, Demaryius Thomas, Dwayne Bowe, Josh Freeman/Terrelle Pryor, then TE/D/K. I have TY Hilton, Quinton Patton, Kenbrell Thompkins, Christine Michael, TP/JF, Tavon Austin, and Josh Gordon on my bench.). I need another TE so I should pick up Julius Thomas, but I'm debating who to drop. I love Quinton Patton and have him for $1 but I'm thinking drop him because I could always get him back, and I'm debating about dropping Tavon Austin for Julian Edelman because he's my most expensive bench WR and I only need so many WR to keep.

That's a long post and I usually never ask for advice, but just wanting to get other opinions for once, haha.

I would definitely drop Patton and pick up Thomas... Don't think I'd get rid of Austin for Edelman. As you don't need him and he really will only be decent until Gronk is back.

I told you all to draft Thomas!!!

But, you have the top waiver spot, so I would definitely upgrade him. I would probably keep Eifert though as insurance. Thomas has only had 1 good week, and it took historic numbers from Peyton.

Edelman I think is in line for a huge couple weeks (taking over for both Welker and Vereen, and to an extent Amendola...but that will be Thompkins more). But when Gronk comes back and Amendola/Thompkins get more in sync he will slip.

But, you are in win now mode. So I wouldnt say picking up both is a bad move.

I really wish I would have drafted him instead of Sudfeld lol.

Damn it, I can't rep either of you right now because I have to spread it around, but I'll come back, haha. Our waiver wire literally just happened. The reason I could get both is because our salary cap is $200 and that is for our current roster plus free agent pick ups. If you bid $10 to pick up a free agent then they are on your roster for $10. Well with what I did at the draft I have $54 left over and the next highest is $8, so I can literally outbid anyone for anybody, lol. I went ahead and picked up Thomas for Patton and Edelman for Austin. I figure I can keep 4-5 WRs for next year as it is and I think Austin will be good but not great, so if I'd want him back I could get him for about what I paid this year. Hopefully the gamble plays off, haha.

I like the moves.

At the very least, Edelman will put up massive points for the next few weeks. If he helps you win those weeks, I dont see how you can be upset.
