I won't venture from Apple b/c I'm a fanboi, but the Windows phone looks pretty sweet... especially the camera.

Have the person click on one of those agreement forms when they first load the app. Pretty simple.

I'm in the same boat as you, merely on a different deck. I've played with iPhones before(but I don't know a lot about them), but I don't expect to venture away from android.

I'm more comfortable with what I have. I also like my phone options(bigger screens, etc).

My guess is that most things iphone's can do, android can do, and vice versa.

Basically, the two operating systems are getting more similar. I know one thing I wish was easier on Android was video calling. Google Hangouts is great, but it isn't always the easiest to connect with. Facetime(I hear) is right there and quick.

1) that article is terrible
2) Hangouts would be awesome if it integrated SMS like Apple does with iMessage. If I could cherry-pick any feature out of an iPhone, it'd be iMessage.

I would do a little reading on the moto x. It is just showing where phones may be heading.... Like touchless control. It isn't the most powerful phone spec wise but it has some neat features. And android has come along way... It is on par with iOS anymore.

I do think that there is a learning curve though. Once you're used to an operating system, other systems seem like crap for awhile. And when i say more bang for your buck, I mean...many more screen size options, memory options and other things. The new LG phone is gigantic, but has the best of everything for spec whores

Best bang for the buck is probably the Nexus 4. It just dropped another $100 because a new one is around the corner.

As far as Android goes the best experience is on the Nexus devices or Google Edition phones (Google Edition HTC One is pretty sweet, got my brother that phone).

iMessage is sweet b/c it works with any Apple OS. I know you could use AIM for the same thing, but iMessage is sweet.

Once Google integrates Google Voice into Hangouts, that platform should be on par or better than iMessage. It will also be on all platforms (Windows, OSX, Android, iOS, etc...) which is something Apple is unwilling to do.

Will Hangouts have a desktop app like Messages?

I'm a huge fan of Messages. Easily my favorite things about the last OS update.

So after a bit of deliberation. I think I'm gonna spring for this upgrade, but go the 32gb route. $299.

16 isn't enough and I'm always having to make room and whatnot. I'm curious to see what good condition 4S' are going for.

Gazelle is offering $150 for "good" condition, $75 for broken. My vibrate/silent toggle switch doesn't work and it will cost me $60 to get that repaired here.

I would be nice to be able to click on a person's name (while in iMessage/SMS screens) and bring up contact info for that person. I hate having to scroll all the way to the top to view that person's phone number, or edit their info.

Yes I know that you can double click the top bar to quickly scroll to the top of your screen, but it would be better if you could just click right on the person's name and select something like "Call Contact."
