Which begs the question...if someone has a gun to your head, is it still rape? Obviously not in this case - don't know how the girlfriend hasn't been charged.

I think someone is lying...
The identified woman is a known prostitute. Sounds like the man got in the car, did the deed, didn't want to pay and then found himself at the end of a gun's barrel. Then he made up the story figuring it was his word against a prostitute to try to salvage the situation.
