With Percy Harvin tweeting that he's aiming for a week 7 return, would you drop Cordarrelle Patterson now to stash Harvin, or wait a week and hope there's no more good news from Harvin's camp (so no one else swoops in to get him) and see how Patterson does in his first game?

You don't have anyone else to drop other than Patterson?

My bench right now:

Le'Veon Bell
Fred Jackson
Shonn Greene (have Chris Johnson in the starting lineup)
James Jones
Tavon Austin
Cordarrelle Patterson

I'm hesitant about dropping a RB (would likely be Jackson), and don't see myself dropping Tavon or James Jones.

I just looked at my team too and I would be in the exact same boat lol would have to drop Patterson. I don't think I'm gonna pull the trigger.

That's how I'm leaning too. At least going to wait a week and if Patterson truly blows, reconsider (if Percy is still available and still sounding like he'll be back before week 10).

Tavon Austin wont do shit this year. That's my prediction.

Under on both. I think he's less talented than Percy Harvin and Harvin put near that his rookie year with AP in the backfield and Brett Farve at QB. He's 3 in shorter, 10 lbs lighter than Harvin and doubt he plays every game.

That would qualify then, haha.

If I had to guess for Tavon I'd go 950 yards and 7 TDs.

I'd think Austin does ~4-600 yds and 4 TDs. Not counting rushing yards, but people thinking he's the next darren sproles are kidding themselves. He reminds me of that guy the KC Chiefs drafted a few yrs ago that everyone thought the same thing about. Can't think of his name now but the guy did jack.

Edit: I was thinking of Dexter McCluster

Also Rams have Bradford at QB with Brian Quick, Austin Pettis and Chris Givens at WR, you think a 4th WR for the Rams will be fantasty viable? Not likely. Wr is a hard position to adjust to in the NFL, esp for a little guy shrimp. There are more busts of WRs esp at that size than successes.

I don't really expect much from Patterson, honestly. His QB is Christian Ponder (who blows) and he would be fourth option at best in the red zone behind Peterson, Rudolph, and Jennings.

If he doesn't have at worst the 2nd most yards on the Rams I'll be shocked. Pettis and Quick are not even average NFL WRs IMO and there is no way they get more yards than Tavon. They need a playmaker terribly and I think Tavon will get plenty of chances to be that guy. Chris Givens is fine and will probably end the season with their most catches and yards, but Tavon won't be far behind if I had to guess.

I wouldnt. But not because Harvin wont be back, but because he will get a headache on the first play and miss the nest 6 weeks.

Reps lol.

I'd probably do it though because I really don't think Patterson is going to be lighting it up this season.

Seriously!

I mean, I am not making fun of migraines. But there are just certain guys I refuse to draft cause they are season killers year in year out fantasy wise.

Harvin is one of them.
