I drafted him in 2 leagues. Brady loves him, and pretty much everyone thinks he's going to be a big time sleeper this year. Anyone else pick up this kid late?

I have him in one keeper league so far for like $6($200 salary cap and will make sure I have him in every other keeper league I'm in. He could be pretty good this year.
Edit: He cost me $10, but I'm still perfectly fine with it. Sounds like he will be the #1 and has had a big preseason with Brady.

Yep I definitely like him late as well. My main draft is on Saturday so hoping he will fall pretty far but I doubt it will how great he has been doing.

I took him pretty early in my league that has a lot of knowledgeable managers in it. 5th or 6th round I think. I was afraid if I waited, someone would have the same idea. His value will be especially high when Amendola has his season ending injury.

Yeah I got him in the 16th round in a draft I did the past Saturday. But a lot of the people in it didn't seem like they were super in fantasy. It's not for any money but a guy at worked asked me to be in his league.se-alum;1492062 wrote:I took him pretty early in my league that has a lot of knowledgeable managers in it. 5th or 6th round I think. I'm guessing I'll need to take him in the 10-12th rounds in my draft this weekend. I agree he will definitely be very valuable when Amendola goes done. 5-6th is just way to early for me haha.

10-12 may be too late. I saw tonight that he was the most added player in Yahoo! fantasy. As of right now, a lot of people see him as a WR2 and a fringe WR1 type of player.Iliketurtles;1492107 wrote:Yeah I got him in the 16th round in a draft I did the past Saturday. He is the most added because he has gone undrafted in tons of leagues especially ones that drafted before last weekend. Right now I see him as a flex guy who has WR2 potential I just don't think he will turn into a WR1.se-alum;1492247 wrote:10-12 may be too late. If you don't mind since you picked him in the 5-6th who were some guys who went after him?

He went 6th round in my last draft. I was going to take him in the 7th and couldn't find him anywhere. Went back and saw some son of a bitch took him 6th round. 10 team league too, I was pissed, lol

A fringe #1? I don't see that. Who are these people who see him as that? Your friends??se-alum;1492247 wrote:10-12 may be too late. I saw tonight that he was the most added player in Yahoo! fantasy. As of right now, a lot of people see him as a WR2 and a fringe WR1 type of player.

I'm not really sure, it was pretty slim pickin's at that point though. Our league only starts one RB, so after the initial RB push in the 1st round, WR's pretty much go the next 3 or 4 rounds.Iliketurtles;1492267 wrote:He is the most added because he has gone undrafted in tons of leagues especially ones that drafted before last weekend. Christine Michael is another guy worth taking a late flyer on.

Hell, he could pay off big time this year if Lynch misses any time. I am actually debating picking him up, even though I dont really have a spot or a need for him.

I was able to grab him in one of my leagues where I have plenty of bench players. He was already taken in one league, and the other league I only have 3 bench positions, so I had no room for him.Laley23;1492622 wrote:Great call.

Thompkins was targeted 14 times today, but only had 4 catches.

Love the workload. Gross on being so out of sync with Brady.se-alum;1497647 wrote:Thompkins was targeted 14 times today, but only had 4 catches.

My Kenbrell Thompkins and Quinton Patton gambles looked pretty shitty today. I think Patton will slowly get into the mix because outside of Davis and Boldin San Fran has no receivers.

I didn't watch the game, but I guess he had a few drops, including a would be TD.Laley23;1497650 wrote:Love the workload. Gross on being so out of sync with Brady.

Yeah but at least Kenny Stills looked really good for you.Terry_Tate;1497651 wrote:My Kenbrell Thompkins and Quinton Patton gambles looked pretty shitty today. I think Patton will slowly get into the mix because outside of Davis and Boldin San Fran has no receivers.
Sudfeld only getting 1 target really surprised me.

Amendola didn't even participate in walkthroughs, and the Pats play on Thursday. That can only help Thompkins to continue to get targets.

I agree also really makes me hope I can get Edelman off waivers if Amendola is out I think he will have another good day.se-alum;1498464 wrote:Amendola didn't even participate in walkthroughs, and the Pats play on Thursday. That can only help Thompkins to continue to get targets.

I ended up picking Thompkins up off waivers after last weekend. This weekend was another big one for him. Should I keep him and start him from now on or try to trade him?
