Homer snake bit on getting the first out. Two potential outs taken away first by a fan from Ludwick, then Votto can't handle the throw from Frazier, which he should have, but Frazier gets the error.

Cozart with a big two out, 2 run scoring hit to LCF. I didn't understand why they tried to get Cozart at 2nd after the bobble, instead of trying to get Ludwick trying to score from 1st.

I thought he was struck out but wasn't called.

Yes, I think he thought he was out too! It was like he realized too late it was over the plate and flinched way too late to do any good.

Gennent's slow slide into 2nd may have cost him being safe on the front end of the DP after BP's error allowed him to reach and he was running on the pitch. I thought Ondrusek's double clutch on the throw was going to cost him.

Reds' defense hasn't been very sharp the last 4 games with 4 errors! Didn't have one yesterday, but I was there and there were plenty of rough spots.

Gennent again follows a Khris Davis HR with a liner to the RF wall. This one was 6' higher than the last and just gets over the wall for a HR and a 6-3 game.

Props to them for their resiliance all year, but I'm sorry.

Alfredo Simon
Manny Parra
Sam LeCure
Logan Ondrusek

These guys are nothing more than long relievers or mop up men on a very good bullpen. At most, maybe 2 of the 4 should really be on the roster as their roles are all interchangeable.

I hope Dusty is ready, because unless he gets Marshall and Cingrani back to add to that pen, he's going to have to lean heavily on Chapman and Hoover each and every game in the playoffs.

I saw where Fay or Sheldon said Cueto could go to the bullpen when/if he comes back. That would be a nice boost to the bullpen.

The good news is, in the playoffs you tend to extend starters and really pinch the amount of relievers.

This game isn't over though. The Brewers pen stinks too.

No it doesn't. Top 3 bullpen in NL.

And reds scoring 3 runs in 2 innings..not happening. They won't get 3 hits...

Outside of their closer, nobody else is good.

This kid pitching now is the guy who got throttled the other night vs STL. 6 hits in an inning, 4 with 2 outs.

Then again, you would probably call the Reds pen "good", yet outside of a 2 guys and a few others having career best runs, it's not good.

Why is Mesoraco not hitting there? You gotta have someone with power or speed hitting. Unimpressive.

No idea why meso wasn't pinch hitting there. Maybe dusty didn't understand the rules on subs again.
