Good morning. Just found out an hour ago that I'm a first time grandpa. Girlfriend was so pumped for the "girl" that was coming (per the ultrasound). Kept telling her "It's gonna be a boy" after she bought all of this girls stuff. LOL...looks like I'll be watching Friday Night Lights in about 14 years. A boy....

Guess that sort of news trumps anything that's happened to me so far today, which has been: wake up, eat breakfast, shower and go to work. Blah.

It's been a long time that I worked a swing shift... Do you have to work a double at the end of each 2 week shift change? Double would be back to back shifts when I worked for Timken in the scarfing area, fork lift driver.

It was actually a pretty difficult birth. Child came a month early and was pretty bruised/swollen up on the forehead. I will have to exorcise/deprogram it as it's father is a Steelers fan and I will be showering it with Browns clothing/gifts.I Wear Pants;1486203 wrote:Congrats on the grandchild, hopefully everything went well and continues to go well for the kid and parents.

Start now an get that first toy baby pistol or rifle gift. That set the standard for gift giving...BR1986FB;1486210 wrote:It was actually a pretty difficult birth. Been a busy few days. Redoing some water ways. Working on the building for (fingers crossed) future firing range. Work and school in between doing all of that. Hope everyone is having a great day.

It was a good breakfast. And I spent a lot of time thinking about it since I had it at 7 a.m. and didn't get a break in work for lunch until about 2 p.m. That's a few more hours between meals than I like, because instead of eating my usual light and healthy lunch, I wound up pounding a couple microwavable french bread pizzas. And now I feel like simultaneously shitting and puking.BR1986FB;1486202 wrote:Hey now...don't sell breakfast short !

Yep. Just like going grocery shopping while hungry. You'll grab all of the impuls junk that will make you feel like crap instead of buying the nutritious stuff. Happens all the time if you wait too long to eat. I've grown accustom to long periods of time between meals with the fasting.Heretic;1486377 wrote:It was a good breakfast.
