Is there any particular reason spam bots are drawn toward it? Do the bots key in on wording that it is a catchall/miscellaneous forum and therefore it dumps their shit in it?

We've been just hammered with spam the past 2 weeks. Given that a) no one uses the forum and b) it's a bot magnet, would deleting it help? Or would the bots just target another forum?

Probably the fact that it is the last forum on the listing. They probably target it since it would generally be the least trafficked and would stand the best chance of going unnoticed the longest. If we deleted it they would probably hit the next forum up.
