Meseraco has earned it, to a point. This brings up an interesting situation. If you are Ryan Hannigan, how do you REALLY feel inside when you are on the DL, and your replacement has seemingly locked up YOUR job?wildcats20;1483162 wrote:Welp, since no one else stepped up...

Prefer Heisey in LF but lineup looks good to me. If Hannahan can be somewhat decent I'd rotate him every other game until/if Frazier figures it out.
Excited for this pair of games. Have front row RCF seats for tomorrow's game. Reddick, Crisp and Cespedes are fun to watch in the OF

Latos does a good job in the 3rd pitching around a 1 out lucky triple by Crisp. But now 50 pitches thru 3.

3 times Reds have had 1st and 3rd with one out, and they have gotten just one run out of those three opportunities.

So what you're saying is they have exceeded expectations so far?mhs95_06;1483241 wrote:3 times Reds have had 1st and 3rd with one out, and they have gotten just one run out of those three opportunities.

Latos needed that 1,2,3 inning which was clinched on a great catch by Bruce.

I wasn't saying that, although that's probably close to the truth!Rotinaj;1483243 wrote:So what you're saying is they have exceeded expectations so far?

Choo will lead off an inning for the 3rd time in the5th. Both previous times Robinson has made an un-productive out(in the 1st his bad bunt should have gone for a DP with a smarter play at 1B) and Votto has pulled a hard single each time for 1st and 3rd and one out.

A bad 3 base error by BP, and Latos working hard to try to pitch around it.

And he does get the HR derby champ out to end the inning without damage(other than pitch count) after pitching around #3 hitter lefty Lowrie! Great job.mhs95_06;1483252 wrote:A bad 3 base error by BP, and Latos working hard to try to pitch around it.

Great strategy by the As pinch hitting for the P, then bringing in the lefty to start off facing Choo, but that was foiled by the Choo double and then the wild throw to first when he couldn't get a grip on the Robinson bunt.mhs95_06;1483250 wrote:Choo will lead off an inning for the 3rd time in the5th. Just caught up on DVR
Good hard hits by the Reds (3rd straight game the pitcher failed to make it to the 5th)
A lot of just missed plays on both sides.
Thought Reddick for sure tied it up....nice play by Bruce.
Votto has made two good base running plays.
I have zero issues with BP's error as the ball clearly took a bad hop and he was squared up on it.

3-0 score, Latos with 101 pitches thru 7, and has retired the last 7 batters. Do you send him out for the 8th?

Lowrie showed right there why it was prudent for Latos to pitch around him with runners on 1st and 3rd earlier. 3 of the 4 hits by the As have been between Votto and the line. Great game by Latos!

JJ Hoover doesn't fail to do his defensive job, and gets the last out in the 8th to preserve the 3-0 lead for Latos and the Reds.

Anyone not like Teddy? Seriously? No way can you not love that kid.
Great game.....but it's STACKED against the Reds tomorrow.
Reds are 2-11-2 against .500 teams (for the series).....and I'm going tomorrow.
But still feeling a win.

Good win tonight.
But the Pirates pulled it out tonight. And knowing our luck, the Cards will hold on to beat the Dodgers.
