The first year of planting a small bush will not produce any berries. If you where to plant some in your yard I would suggest 5 or 6 plants. They get about the size of a butterfly bush and take up about the same space. It takes 3 years before they really start to producing. Remember its a bush so it is a good and hardy plant, sunny area.
