Yeah, I guess he did. Actually went right for the papers, too, (and immediately asked how his family was doing for money) but then went to sit for his treatment. It was blurry, but looked like there was one about Pinkman missing.

I actually thought he wore the hat to the restaurant, but Vince pointed out he didn't have it (and indeed he's wearing a knit hat when he leaves). So maybe the comparison you would make is an athlete reliving his former glory thru headlines.

Anyway, Vince said he thought Heisenberg was done. So I guess were about to see Scarface.

I'm thinking also that Walt is not done "losing". I expect at least one of Skylar, Walt Jr, baby Holly or Jesse to die. But I'm not sure how they get his immediate family in harm's way in this last episode (although Skylar is in Lydia's sights)

Jesse can't just ride off into the sunset - he has blood on his hands. Vince has alluded to that, and I'd be surprised to see Jesse do any better than a life sentence.

I could see Jesse dead and Walt overcome with grief. And really the ultimate justice that Walt would deserve is to end-up rotting in jail, cured of his cancer, having lost everything. Well, he'd rot for however long it takes the Brotherhood to kill him.

Unless you wanted Walt to live, I don't know how you didn't like the ending.

Anyone else thinking of dropping the 200 bucks for the barrel complete set? My wife was asking me earlier this week what I wanted since it was only 90 days away. I now have an answer for her.

I actually thought it was really well done. And Cranston was again brilliant, even by the high standard he set all series. A subtly very different Walter White - which can't be easy to do after 5 seasons, and he nailed it.

I liked how Lydia got her due. Thought it was great that they let Jesse choke Todd. Even Walt dying in the lab, which not only appropriate but put Jesse completely in the clear.

Not sure Jesse should have gotten off free, but I suppose he served his time. The maniacal laughter was a bit odd.

Loved the ending, and glad they tied up all the loose ends, leaving nothing for the fan to conclude.

The Wire and The Shield were both very good finales. Not sure how I would rank them right now. I think I'd have to let this BB soak in for awhile.

The Shield ending was epic, imo. I thought it was better and less predictable than Breaking Bad. I thought BB ended very well though.

Sloppy writing. Vince Gilligan must think we're idiots.
