Well this sucks! Maybe something better comes out, maybe 2k does something.

Im guessing EA still makes a game. They just can't use ncaa logos and things. They'll find a way around it. They have too. They make too much money off it. But if not then they can just make a bf5 that is insane I guess.

Maybe now they can make it awesome. Like being able to pay handlers to get players, and give them roids and put them in through concussions. Ohio State can be called Ohio Statement University and Michigan can be called the Skunkweasles.

Kind of like how in NCAA football, the whole recruiting process is a mini-game unto its own, they could do the same sort of thing during the season, where you have to spend about an hour between games working to keep half your team (or everyone, if you pick an SEC school) eligible. You pick a guy with amazing physical attributes, but with things like "dumb as a box of rocks" and "loves the strip clubs" listed under their name and good luck ever actually using them.

What this actually means is that the NCAA/EA contract negotiations weren't going as well as planned, so the NCAA released this to get 2k/EA in a bidding war.

I wish this also applied to basketball. I really miss NCAA hoops on consoles. A 2k college basketball game would be suh-weet.

Can you imagine 2K's "My Player" mode in NCAA? Start off in high school, get recruited by the big schools, then export to NBA 2k# after you're finished. Fucking awesome

I wish Sony would actually make the game. MLB The Show is the best sports game easily, NCAA would be on a whole other level

NBA 2K13 was called the greatest sports game of all-time by quite a few publications.

Scary thing is, the 2K games get better every year. Plus basketball > baseball

2k basketball games are awesome and they continue to Make the game better and better. However, MLB the show is the best sports game made right now.

Also I look forward to seeing how EA has revamped nbalive. I assume they will come back with a bang.

Competition between ea and 2k is a very good thing.

I think EA is intimidated by 2K.

Nothing to see here. Lots of buzz about a non-story. As the EA Sports link indicates, they are already working on the next game. They'll call it College Football 2015 and nobody will even notice
